Chris has had such a great impact on my life over the years, both as an individual and with my career. I met Chris Christie as my new manager, but he quickly became a mentor more than a boss. When i met Chris, I was at a very low point in my life. I had lost my father, and felt like I was drifting around life detached from who I wanted to be, and more importantly who I knew I was. I think Chris has the ability to see potential in people even when they may not see it in themselves. Where I once saw a new boss, I quickly came to see a man that would listen to me with respect and offer guidance in a way that gave me a path to grow. Chris reminded me of my better qualities while being able to simultaneously push my myself to improve. I will always remember his advice that whether you had a good day or bad day, you should ask yourself: how can I be an even better me tomorrow?
